This is a special building. As from the built of this house in 1911 until about 50 years ago the whole farmer family lived in this house for most part of the year. In the living room you will find the old cast-iron door behind which the oven used to be. In this oven delicious bread was baked. The smell of the freshly baked bread made everyone come out of the paddocks for lunch. The family would enjoy their lunch together. When finished, they put on their wooden clogs and walked back to the paddocks passing the chickens and goats on their way.

Even now ‘t Bakhuys is an ideal place to start your discovery of this beautiful region by foot, bike, car or horse! There is a lot to do and see in The Veluwe during every season of the year.

In the beautiful area ‘The Veluwe’ in the middle of the Netherlands we have renovated one of our outbuildings -      ‘t Bakhuys - to a well equiped holiday accommodation for max. four persons.

‘t Bakhuys is situated in the countryside near the towns of Barneveld, Voorthuizen en Kootwijk. This self catering holiday home is suitable for both young and old. It is an ideal location for your holiday.
